Helvellyn

Thursday and my final day in the Lake District. A decent weather forecast for a long walk up to Helvellyn. This is the view from the top with Swirral Edge left of centre, Red Tarn below and Ullswater in the distance. Lots more photos and details of the walk on my blog.

I am back home now but it is clear that I need to spend a lot more time in the Lake District. It is such a wonderful place to walk.
