You ever have that feeling that you aren't completely 100% that you got your questions answered or that a proper job was done?

That's been me. 

After Harper chipped his tooth i was on watch for any abnormalities as its quite common in children when a bump to the tooth occurs it can cause the tooth to die, well rather the nerve.

At Harper's one month check up at the dentist i took him to he didn't actually look/feel in his mouth he sort of stood a distance back and when Harper cried stepped back even further.

So i left feeling temporarily relieved but as days passed after that i kept looking in Harper's mouth as i felt like something wasn't right, his tooth looked a little darker. Andre didn't notice - said perhaps it was  the light i was looking at it in. Still, i wasn't satisfied with the dentists actual check up of Harper's teeth.

So i called the paediatric dentist i took mar to last year, i knew they'd be better, i knew they'd actually have a decent look. I was right.

They've updated their waiting room, used to just be the xbox in the corner now it has ipads too. Why dont adult dentist have fun stuff for us to do?

The dentist was the same lady who saw mar and she was lovely.
She got me to hold Harper facing me then lie him back onto her lap, he cried, she said that was perfect because she could look (already one step ahead of previous dentist) she felt all his teeth, had a really good look at the one i was concerned about and the rest of them.

She said they are fine, it hasn't died, its a little darker than his other teeth but she said that was typical of canines. She said none felt wiggly and his gums were clear and healthy.

She said he had back teeth coming in but otherwise they were ok and she was glad i took him to them for a second opinion, they'll now manage his dental care and will see him every 6 months.

Huge knot in my stomach instantly dissolved, I knew i did the right thing, I knew had i not gone i would have worried about it for ages. I should have taken him there to begin with, of course paediatric dentist will be better they know all the strategies to look at kids teeth, its all they do.

Mar was sweet this morning, he was concerned about seeing his grandparents, he said he missed them, he was upset and wanted them to comfort him. 

Kanye was home today, he woke up really grumpy and then came all the coughing and other not so cool stuff, he's caught our cold- stuffed up and miserable. Either lying on the couch watching tv or on the floor sobbing because  he felt yuck.
