Top of The Rock

A chilly day which, after breakfast, sent us scurrying back to our room for warmer clothes!! How can the weather change so quickly in 24 hours??!!
We took an open top bus tour of Downtown Manhattan which took forever because there was a nutter with a hammer, attacking police so they cordoned off several blocks...
After having a quick look at the Statue of Liberty, we went to the Rockefeller Center and booked to go up to the Observation Deck.
I was a little wary but it was ok. Amazing views across Manhattan. There was a Chinese couple having their wedding photos done too - beautiful bride in the most wonderful dress.. Looked like Vera Wang..
We had a Mexican lunch and have just had lovely wine in our hotel bar. Early start tomorrow - things to see, things to do...!! :-)
