DINNER'S READY!

It was all go at the park today. Shy Mr Muscovy has acquired a Muscovy duckess and he's trying to impress her by approaching passers-by and begging for food from them. The Canada goose parents were fiercely protecting their goslings from passing dogs. I saw nuthatches and a treecreeper, day-old ducklings and (dramatic music) a rat swimming around near the reeds where the nests and babies are. And that was in a quick 15-minute walk. This was the best photo, though. Robins… always good value!
