I'm beginning to bore myself.

I was going to lay off the autumnal landscapes...mostly because I was kind of getting bored with doing the same kind of shots. And also because the colors have faded. But by 5:00 p.m. today, I still didn't have a blip-worthy photo, so I headed out back where the late afternoon light seemed to rekindle the autumn glow from two weeks ago. It was too easy.

Sorry that I couldn't even be bothered to photoshop out (is that a term?) the rogue branch in the upper right corner. It's been one of those days.

Edited: Thanks everyone for the comments. When I took another look at it today (Tues), I decided I like it as it is -- branch and all. I think I'd miss it now if I took it out.
