Blowing in the wind

The poppies in the town flower beds are looking stunning but today there was a real strong wind and they were having a bit of a battle. Decided to run with it and use a slow shutter speed for a bit of a impressionistic photo.

Heatherbelle and I had a good day in town, sorting out internet access at the bank for her iPad and some clothes shopping for her. All very successful. She appreciated all the comments yesterday about her blanket, the sewing up has started so hopefully will get quite a bit of it done while she is here.

Off to committee meeting tonight so early dinner.
