A good start to the day
Sadly that was many hours ago and things went a little downhill afterwards.
I shall skirt very quickly over the very poor show I made of a webinar today. And yes, before you are kind to me, it was as bad as I think. Though Carlos would no doubt quote the wise words of Sven to me were he here, "you're never as good as you think you are and never as bad".
Following that I was literally rushing around and caught the necklace Anna bought me for Mother's Day on the handle of a door and broke it. I think it may be mendable.
Not much else worth reporting I don't think. Other than I have been on three dog walks today which has been rather lovely and distracting.
And J came home broken again. I think a little unexpected as today has been harder than he had anticipated. Still, he is halfway done now and the fun end of term / the year / his primary school career is in touching distance.
And not to leave her out, growth-spurt Anna as she is currently known made herself scrambled eggs, bacon and a toasted bagel for breakfast, all washed down with a cup of tea. Though she learned a valuable lesson in timing as she made the tea first and it was almost cold by the time everything else was ready. An important lesson covered there I think.
I obviously prefer it when my hot drinks are made by someone else*
