Causeway to The Mount
Back-blip 2 of 6…..
Having caught up with friends and relatives me and son Andy decided to visit St Michael's Mount taking advantage of our family National Trust membership. It's a while since we've been so we went up to the castle to do the very interesting tour then back down and around the gardens, which I haven't done before, and I've got to say they were really impressive.
I took quite a few shots with the wide-angle lens on so I've posted a couple of these as extras. One of them captures the unusual proliferation of seaweed on the beach.
We headed back to Helston for the final band rehearsal ahead of the big day tomorrow, followed by visits to a couple of the local hostelries before retiring relatively early.
