Fishpie and Therapy Dogs!

Today is my 500th entry and I did have something particular to photograph BUT, it's my favourite day of the week, my Alzheimer's  Support day so I photographed the club instead!

It was my turn to cook today (also my first turn) and I am pleased to say that I produced a delicious fishpie and veg, piping hot and on time  for 14 people! Pudding was simple - mixed berries and yogurt. I was in my element!

I mentioned Bowood yesterday and by complete coincidence Lady Lansdowne (of Bowood) joined in the fun today. She brought lots of biscuits and marshmallows and played scrabble with "the boys" .

Also in attendance were the Therapy dogs, Higby and Dave. They are leading a 4 day sponsored walk over the next Bank holiday weekend!   

I am in love with Dave. He is a rescue whippet that was days away from being destroyed before being rescued by Grant (manager). His tale is sad but his life now is wonderful. Dave and Higby are an added bonus to the enjoyment of my day.
