Erythronium dens-canis "Pagoda"

A day round home doing various things which needed sorted before we go away on Friday.  The result (after my lie in of course) was a shot of a flower in the garden.

Also known as "dogs Tooth Violet" we have a clump of these in the "bog garden" and they always make a good show.  They are native to southern and central Europe..  Some species are said to be edible but I am not sure I want to test that.
