Going places...

...in my head! Feel like I'm on a bit of a journey, discovering more about modern day monasticism and how Danny & I could live a life that is more prayerful.... Had a community lunch and afternoon, so been chatting through our musings & discoveries with the Claytons. Also had our first Sunday Service of the season tonight - good to be back in the West End again!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Having the opportunity to live life differently. I'm so grateful that now our life's been taken out of the norm (what was our norm), we can work out what we want our new norm to be, try different things, create different rhythms etc... I'm relishing creating & not reacting. A gift.
2) A beautiful tootle between our afternoon time and the service.
3) Ice cream with Asha. Lovely to have a bit of time just the 2 of us....plus the ice cream was amazing - home-made lemon & cinnamon!
