The Fragile Arctic Spring
When we were in Russelv, east of Tromso, 350km inside the Arctic Circle earlier in April I cut a small cutting from a dwarf willow.
I put it in water and it has sprung into leaf. But then days later something started eating it. I suspect I brought a twig with moth or butterfly eggs on it. When I investigated this chap appeared.
