Autumn Stars

Most of the leaves on our deciduous trees in the front of the property have now dropped, exposing the tree branches to the open skies above.

It's a bright and starry night out there; the moon is just about to pop over the horizon, so before the details are flooded with moonlight I thought it would be a good opportunity to catch the arch of the Milky Way stretching east to west across the southern sky.
