One species each day (from my backyard)

Here is a nice close-up of a Myoporum laetum. This is one of those trees that seed everywhere and luckily some were still flowering. The white petals of the flower were too much over-exposed to be fixed in Picasa, but editing the RAW file in Nikon's Capture NX-D revealed more of the nice pink dots and the hairs on the petals.
