Harvest time!

I have a strawberry patch in the greenhouse, so mine are ready quite a bit before anything grown outside.

One of the real joys of June. Nothing you buy in the supermarket can come close.

Enthused by the success of this year's crop (I put a bit more effort in this year) I was at the garden centre by 9.15 to buy seeds (beetroot, radishes, basil, rosemary etc) and a cucumber seedling. Dill & parsley are growing well already.

Let's hope for a normal summer so that tending these plants is not a chore!
