Lovely Jubylee

Gym session in the morning....raining.

Over to our friends house for afternoon and evening of fun.

This involved putting up our tent....raining...

Flags and bunting all inside the tent and all the trimmings, blow up bed, comfy blow up chairs, my favourite sleeping bag... The works!

Old friends, good food, beer and the happy conversation that comes from all the above. Raining. We wore silly masks of all the royals, waved flags and generally got all patriotic. Raining. After much eating and drinking while watching the flotilla go down the Thames, we headed out to toast marshmallows in the fire ....raining....cups of tea and coffee to warm us up (is it really June?).

The night draws in and the party has ended, wife is now tucked up in bed at home while I camp out....raining... Will it ever stop?

In true British fashion we partied through the rain, had fun, laughed and enjoyed the show!

I like camping in the rain, the sound of it on the tent....very pleasing. I will miss not cuddling up next to my lovely Lady but she is better off at home. :(
