Torwoodlee GC, near Galashiels, today for the annual Rotary charity golf comp.

For the 'Lapsed Standards' team it was the usual story of putts lipping out, drives leaking into the rough and other tales of golfing woe.

We scored 79 on the double Stableford scoring system - respectable, but a bit short of a winning total.
