a lazy, delicious dinner after a crazy, non-delicious day.

managed a quick hour of sleep at 1am and then woke up, dropped a mug down the stairs and then watched the entire election spectacle unfold. i won't say much, as i have already voiced my opinion via facebook, and i intend to let my actions do the speaking from here on out. however, i will say that i am disappointed. and leave it at that.

then work took a remarkably difficult turn meaning i've spent the day going from meeting to meeting and phone call to phone call trying to deal with some pretty difficult situations. i've had to make some tough calls, which never comes easily, but having people genuinely tell me that they've got my back has made me shed a few of the tiniest of tears.
