New Park Babies.

It was an exciting morning - I have been visiting this pen on her nest almost daily for some weeks now - and today she showed me her six beautiful new babies. They are so lively and beautiful - it is hard to believe that they are less than 24 hours old.
The coot\( other) swan saga continues - see extra photos. Having resigned themselves to the fact that Mrs Swan is not vacating the nest anytime soon they have decided to add on an extension. In the photo you can see Mr Coot helping Mrs Coot with the heavier stuff.

PS This afternoonI went back to show babies to Bev. Our hearts sank when we saw the empty nest. However, they were with their parents by the stream near the car park. See third extra photo.
