Twins
A friend's sister had twins early in the new year and on Saturday I'm off to the Naming Ceremony. This morning I went to the forge with the idea of creating a unique piece to mark the occasion....but without having an idea what I would be doing. Luckily desperation inspired me eventually and I came up with the idea of taking a piece of sea glass and splitting it to emulate the splitting an egg into twins...
"To form identical or monozygotic twins, one fertilised egg (ovum) splits and develops into two babies with exactly the same genetic information. To form fraternal or dizygotic twins, two eggs (ova) are fertilised by two sperm and produce two genetically unique children."....
I used a hammer....just saying
