An Avid Lensman

The Path Ahead...

I hope you all used your precious votes in the UK's General Election wisely, today.

I voted at 7.30 pm after coming back from this yellow scene (not an indicator of political persuasion at all, either) and the queues were getting really long. Took half an hour before I could cast mine. I could have/may have voted for a real live King - King Arthur Pendragon, leader of the Druids is standing as an independent. Salisbury can never wash the blue-rinse out of its political hair so anything else is just a protest.

Anyways, settled down for a night of TV - Channel 4's 'alternative election night', comedy and piss-takes and then from around the small hours, over to BBC coverage to see the results coming in.

In my Blip of Channel 4's HQ recently, I said how different they are, as broadcasters. How many national TV stations would actually remove their entire 'E4' "youth channel", as in their words "voting is probably more important than watching TV". Full marks to Channel 4 for encouraging our youth to get off their backsides and to vote.

Lens is Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro, stopped well down to f16, to help get that lovely winding tyre track in focus.

HUGE and mega thanks for all your favourites, comments and everything on yesterday's Biblical Lyme Regis Rainbow. You pushed it up to the very top of the Populars!
