Pond - Day 2

Walked up to the local shops. The street next to ours is having a party later and so they were busy putting up bunting and arranging diversion signs.

Early lunch so that husband and sons could get ready and head off to Wembley for the friendly between England and Belgium.

I did some more soil moving around the pond and reused a bit of the old plastic liner to make a bog garden. One frog had already dived in to the new pond to try it out. Lots of digging and sifting of soil. We now have a huge pile of stones that have been removed from the soil. No idea what we are going to do with it.

Enjoyed getting clean again in a hot bath and then sat quietly on my own until the boys got back from the football. They seemed to have enjoyed it and had survived the traffic jams.
