Dunlins

Really, taking photographs of birds needs patience and time.  I'm not great on patience in the first place, and time to have patience is of the essence with a baby like this one.

However, on the first walk, she was asleep in the baby carrier in the roaring wind, oblivious to the seals, dunlins, turnstones, howling wind, occasional spot of rain etc, so I had a few minutes.

The second walk was very enjoyable - Traigh Hough, where there were yet more flocks of Dunlins and some wartime remains.

The third (evening) walk was  very short.  The sun looked a lot sunnier from inside the house.

The jigsaws are out.  We're in it for the long haul.
