Wetting Tea

Everyone needs a cupán tae every now and again.

This is an unorthodox way of making a cup of tea but it works well. When I realised that there was no kettle in the apartment I felt I had to do something; so I went into town in order to hunt one down. However, with the help of a friendly shopkeeper, I found this steel mug instead. It works well but the handle always heats up - bloody gas! It reminds me of a green one we had at home when I was young in which my mother made the most eggcellent scrambled eggs.
