My best translation of the graffiti reads:

disorder is the delight of imagination."

This is a Paul Claudel quotation. The original words in French are:
"Si l'ordre est le plaisir de la raison, le désordre est le délice de l'imagination."

I have been a long-time fan of blipfoto.com, however I have never blipped. I am not sure why that is; perhaps I have just been lazy. I kept telling myself to begin on a day that was significant to me. Such days came and went and I found excuses not to make a record of them.

I am currently in Italy learning the language. Somehow I managed to pack everything except my camera. I still smile thinking of my first time on a plane two months ago when I said aloud to myself; "The beginning of an adventure; this would make a good first bli-ah sugar!" Luckily, my mother was kind enough to sent it over along with some porridge as a birthday gift.

I hope this will motivate me to keep an eye out for memorable moments big and small. It will also be a good opportunity to dedicate myself to a small project. To be honest, I don't expect people to spend their good time viewing these images; they exist more for my own pleasure and record than anyone else's. Still, I will try to keep my photos interesting just in case you do pop by.
