Badby Woods
Badby Woods in Northamptonshire is a private property and part of the Fawsley Estate. It is a protected wildlife area. It is famous for it's Bluebells and you enter the wood through what is left of a fantastic gatehouse. (See extra photo)
I also saw a Whitebell, first time for me (see extra photo)
A fine and subtle spirit dwells
In every little flower,
Each one its own sweet feeling breathes
With more or less of power.
There is a silent eloquence
In every wild bluebell
That fills my softened heart with bliss
That words could never tell.
