So small

This little visitor was sitting on the frame of one of the windows when I went out onto my balcony this morning.

This afternoon I went to the hospital for the first checkup on my foot. Apparently they thought that it had healed enough to remove the threads that had been used to close the wound but somehow I cannot help worrying whether that has not happened a little too soon.
