Cheer up!

I spotted this rather miserable looking tree today! Aside from the rather downcast look, this is a fantastic tree trunk - full of great textures.

It was rather nice starting the work week on a Tuesday - wish I could do that every week.  The Library is very busy as exam season is upon us. Usually when I get in I can wander around the Law Library in splendid isolation for the first hour or so, getting noisy collections stuff out of the way. When I got in at 8am this morning, the place was already packed out with stressed looking students so I sailed on through and left them in peace.

As I cut short my lunchtime walk as it had the cheek to rain on me Igot some more Poirot stepping in, to Murder on the Orient Express this time. I love the story but don't like the Suchet version of this one as it is a very dark and angry version - unlike the cheerier earlier episodes. There was a real marked change of tone as the series went on.
