A day of .....

Today is celebrated for different reasons in different places. It's Europe Day, International Midwives Day, Liberation Day in the Netherlands & Denmark, Martyrs Day in Albania, Senior Citizen's Day in Palau (no, I don't know where it is either) and it's Children's Day in Japan. It's a Japanese national holiday taking place on the fifth day of the fifth month and is part of the Golden Week. It is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness. Sounds good to me. I'm thinking of initiating my own national day ..... just need to think what.

It's been a day of bits & pieces, hence the odd blip!
