Day trippers
A sunny day for a May bank holiday, that's unusual around here. Not that bank holidays make any difference to my leisure time these days though. A trip to Anstruther beckoned to get away from the clouds advancing from the west and a wander around the harbour watching the boats come and go before heading off for an old fashioned high tea. A proper sit down one that is, not the 'queuing for ages waiting to buy a fish supper and eating it in the car park whilst swotting away the seagulls' one.
I did find it amusing that the queue from the chip shop snaked its way past the Heart, Chest and Stroke charity shop. Who says they are irony impaired in the East Neuk of Fife.
Song. (What other choice could it be with a name like that for your boat).
