Nuthatch

We woke up to rain, but towards lunchtime things began to brighten up, although the wind is blowing a bit now, but I expect it's been a similar story over much of the U.K. 

I've been watching this bird and its mate most days and trying to get a blip of both of them together, but no success.  They're very lively and never seem to be still, always on the lookout and checking round to see if everything's O.K.  In the end I had to call it a day but maybe I'll give it a go again sometime.
