Bird treat

Yesterday we put a large fat cylinder out for the birds before going out for the day. When we got home it had virtually disappeared! I had a good look round thinking it had broken - but no, the greedy gannets, i.e.starlings, had eaten it.

So today mum bought some more treats and a new container, which seems to have slowed them down a bit. Nevertheless there was a constant stream of starlings visiting the treat, which is rather good to see as they are apparently on the Red list of endangered birds.
