It Rained

What a downpour, and wonderful for the garden.  The sun is shining now and the clouds are scudding across the sky.

Yesterday evening we had the robins larking about and then a pair of song thrushes came into the garden.  The male stayed on the fence keeping guard while the female dug for worms on the lawn.  Lovely to see.

I tried all sorts of pictures this morning but nothing was totally satisfactory, so you have a mucked about picture of apple blossom.
