Towards Tahrir

More digging up of the iconic square's central roundabout. The recently erected flag pole, a somewhat oversized affair, has had a blocky base added to it and the earth all around has been dug up. Not sure it will still be flat and accessible to pedestrians or protesters - not that there’s many of the latter around due to a law effectively banning them - after the landscaping is finished.
