Life of Pi

Expat friends had their second child on March 14 and today was Henrik's first official meet n greet.

He was a champ, although we didn't see much of him as he was content to snooze the morning away, swaddled up against his mom's heart beat - not that I'm complaining, other people's children really don't do it for me, which is why I teach adults...

The excitement for the day came courtesy of an unmarked police car. It had pulled someone over and then pulled onto the autobahn ahead of us, having forgotten to turn off the 'stop...polizei' flashing light in the rear window. It was amusing to watch cars pull up behind it in the outside lane, see the sign and brake...We did wonder if we ought to flash him and let him know that he was no longer incognito.
