Jubilee Saturday

Today I did my 2nd shift in the charity shop and thoroughly enjoyed it again :)

I know in the long run I'm going to need to find something that pays me more than cups of coffee but it's all good experience and my manager will give me a reference when I need to get a proper job! :)

I then went to see a tree being planted for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. It was quite nippy but didn't rain. There was a free party afterwards with tea and cake but I couldn't have had any cake & didn't recognise anybody so came home to Stella for some ball-throwing instead :)

My evening out last night was very enjoyable. Managed to park close to the venue so didn't have to walk far in the dark and got my book signed too :)

Notice all the :) s when I haven't been to work? Can't do anything about it (family business) apart from recognise that it's only work days that are down days and look forward to the others. & there'll be more up days than down days this week so the misery blips will be minimal! :)
