My girl had agreed to Steward at the Corstorphine Fayre today for Scarlett Haberdashery on behalf of Garvald. In order to secure a stall at the event each stallholder had to provide 2 hours of stewarding. After yesterday's glamour shot it was funny to see her in a yellow tabbard, latex gloves and carrying a bin bag. How the mighty have fallen. We didn't laugh too much.

I walked around and came across these beauties who were advertising the Big Dance event due to takle place in the city at the end of June. Obviously the girls are from Belliedancingbarbie.com. The name itself makes you want to look. They must have been freezing and I was surprised by the amount of men stopping them asking for a photograph and taking it with their phones. Call me cynical but I'm sure it wasn't the event or the photography they were interested in,

Anyway, I always enjoy seeing a community come together and this event was well attended.

After her bin duties my girl and I left but not before securing a delicious Garvald loaf, and beautiful plant and my girl's bevvy for the night from the Tombola stall. Thank heavens it was a bottle of lucozade sport and not the giant Vodka Ice.
