Pund

It's been a lovely day of sunshine and warm too when in the lea but still a nip in the air.  In the late afternoon and this evening, there's been a few showers and some wintery!

I've been hame aboot this morning.  Up early and manged to get three loads of washing done, taking advantage of the fine drying day :)  I managed a few walks with Sammy this morning too.
This afternoon I fetched boxes and headed north to Sullom to give Erik a hand again with the old Pund house, moving furniture and I had a good hock about too :)  So much to do and will be back to give him a hand again on Monday morning.
No more work in the pub until next week and going to relax tonight with some walkies mixed in and maybe pop along mam for a cuppa :)

The old Pund house and shop has always had a place in my heart.  My granny and granddad lived a mile away from here and I used to pop up as a boy to get a sweetie, juice or ice-cream.  Now and again when with granddad, we'd go in to see Bobby Mowat in the house and sit chatting for a while.  Going inside the house and shop again today after 20 years brought back many memories, especially of granddad Mitchell :)  I'll hopefully get some photos of the interior on Monday :)  Taken at the Pund, Sullom.
