Protecting each other.

These little plants are allegedly protecting each other! They each have qualities that help other plants to thrive, and in perticular the French Marigolds are said to repel slugs and snails. In addition there is a variety of salad leaves, coriander, dill and chives. It was planted just a week ago and already we have eaten some of the leaves. They were quite spicy.
