Renovation

Yesterday I blipped a picture of the mess, which is now our pond, prior to our current builder commencing the required renovation.  Today’s picture shows the pond, from the opposite end to yesterday’s picture, with 16 tonnes of topsoil placed at its upper edge.  Having seen how little impact it has made, it is quite apparent that at least another four similar loads, will be required to restore the pond to its original size.  We did not fully appreciate the magnitude of what our previous builder had done, until now.  Our renovation will continue until the pond is identical, or as near as we can make it, to its previous landscaped size and shape.Fortunately, we have many pictures including the original pond and are able to define its boundaries very accurately.
