Beginnings of a Duckling Watercolor

The avian world is turning its thoughts to procreation
and so have I.  A fellow bliphoto friend, Aliscotia posted
an April 15 blip of a swimming mallard duckling.  This, in
turn, inspired me to begin a new watercolor.  She gave
me permission to use her photo as inspiration.  Her
duckling is on the lower left. Thanks Alison. 

the problem so far as I see it, is "taping" the composition together
into one unit.  I think the upper left duck will pose a problem, so now
I am "growing" grasses to anchor it down so that this fourth duckling recedes in the background and is not as important as the three
ducklings in the foreground.  Stay tuned!
