Ivy-leafed toadflax

No apologies for blipping this pretty little plant again. It takes me by surprise every year when it sprouts out from nowhere along the old walls nearby.

I had a dash over to Drymen in a blizzard of sleet  this morning for an emergency appointment at the doctor's. This time last week it was like summer. The weather has gone haywire!

I finally finished 'Elizabeth is Missing' - Emma Healey's portrayal of an elderly woman with dementia was a bit too close for comfort! - and have chosen 'The Making of Us' by Lisa Jewell from my long list of recommended good reads. Anyone read it?

Heading back over to Drymen now, in sunshine, this time to see the dentist. If it's not one thing, it's another!
