The New Sofa

I was relieved to take delivery, finally, of the sofabed that didn't come on Monday, so D#2 won't have to share with me when she visits next week. Hooray!

It has been a better day weather-wise - more sunshine than showers, still cold - but apart from a walk up to the recycling bins with more 'junk', it has been a stay-at-home day.

I made 5-spice butternut squash soup and baked a batch of vegan brownies in anticipation of Lulabel's visit. I might  let friend June try one when she comes for lunch tomorrow...

Last night I watched the first two episodes of 'Peter Kay's Car Share'. Loved it!
