Merino Sheep......

This mob wasn’t interested in hanging around and being photographed, but they do produce some of the finest wool in the world.


We woke to a fresh dusting of snow on the higher mountains, and once the sun rose above them the view was stunning in all directions for our trip from Wanaka to Tekapo.
Before our departure we made one more visit to The Wanaka Tree to capture its beauty against the backdrop of snow capped mountains.
It was great bumping into Cycling Granny and a lovely final finish to our Wanaka ANZAC Blip meet.


Once on the road we stopped many times to take photographs. We made it to Mt Cook and walked to view the Tasman Glacier Lake with the icebergs (though they weren’t very big), visited the Blue Lakes which are now green and hiked to the base of the lake for a better view of the icebergs
.
Now, it is bed for me. I apologise for the lack of commenting tonight. It has been a long day and my eyes don’t want to stay open much longer.  I really do appreciate the lovely comments, stars and hearts from you all. Thank you so much.
