The Legendary Route 66

Drove through constant rain and high winds to head west and out of the Texas storms. Had to stop off the highway twice as the road disappeared under a torrential rain and 60mph winds....couldn't tell where the road ended and prairie began. Landed in Santa Rosa, New Mexico under sodden skies, but a clear trail ahead. Tomorrow morning, we're going to stop in Santa Fe for a day of gallery - hopping and my favorite restaurant, El Farol, and great watering hole, The Dragon Room. Spent some strange and wonderful times in those places....but those are whole 'nother stories. ;-)
