2012-05-27 Edinburgh Marathon

I've been away for a while, for which my apologies. I posted an explanation here of why, but since this was a photograph with text overlaid it got suspended.

Basically, I was in the final stages of training for the Edinburgh marathon, and I needed to get to sleep earlier. The Photo Per Day had to suffer.

So...I got round in 4:17:36, as you can see from the photo (which I bought from www.marathon-photos.com). Not as good as I had hoped, but the conditions were pretty brutal - desperately warm, and many a runner with more experience than me (this was my first marathon) reported a much slower time than they had expected.

Anyway, I'm back!
