Lilac

We were late back from church this morning since it was the Annual Chaplaincy Meeting following a shortened morning service. By the time we had got back from church and had some lunch, the rain had started, and seemed set to remain. I did a bit of reading and got some ironing done, but then very late in the afternoon Roger and I felt we really needed to get out for a bit of exercise, so we did venture out for a local walk despite the rain, which by this time was persistent, but not heavy. Just loving all the lilac and wisteria that's out at present. The cherry blossom had unfortunately taken a bit of a battering from the heavier rain earlier in the afternoon.
