Attention to too much detail...

Ooh he or rather they, made me laugh.  Kids attention to detail and the way it differs from adults is just amazing.

I was up at a friends house up the road, kids are in the same class at school.  Just as I was leaving their kid picks up an elastic band from a scooter handle outside their house and asks me to give it to Ewan as it is his.  Just an elastic band he must have found on the ground somewhere. I'm thinking, aye whatever, okay.

Get home and get it out my pocket and show it to Ewan. "Oh yeah, thanks, was looking for that."  The only thing I asked was, "Do you know what it is and where I got it?"   "Yeah, it my elastic band, it was on Dylan's scooter."

Brilliant, it made me giggle.
