Cumulus

This has been a day of very odd weather : bitterly cold at times followed by some warmth in the sun. I also experienced hailstones at one point on my walk. Significant though were the cloud formations - great banks of cumulus in deep blue skies. The emerging greenery in the trees here is clear but the whole scene belongs to the sky! This is looking roughly east from the quarry entrance road
