Slavonian Grebe

A blustery and cold way with a strong cold wind. Those warm days of last weekend seem a long time ago.
During one brief respite I made it as far as the metropolis that is Balivanich and came back via Coot Loch where this Slavonian Grebe was holding court - albeit a long way away. Always pretty little birds at this time of year rather than the drab grey and white birds one sees in winter about a kilometre out to sea.
